Mistakes to avoid when taking the photo(s)
- Make sure the light or sun is in front of you.
- No shadows of any part of your body appear.
- Don’t take the photo as a selfie. Let someone else take that photo.
- Take a photo in a horizontal way, not a portrait. This will give space around you.
- Don’t be too close to the lens.
- Allow space above your head and on both sides. This will help to resize without distorting photo quality. See the photos below.
- Make sure you have a white (plain) background.
- Don’t wear hats or uniforms.
